about

I’m a Sami film director and screenwriter. The Sami are the indigenous peoples of the northern part of Norway, Sweden, Finland and much of the Kola Peninsula in Russia. I grew up in a small village far up north in Norway where I made my first films, Lego and clay animation, as an early teen with my father’s Super 8 film camera. In 2002 I graduated from The Norwegian Film School. After film school I have been developing different unique ways of eye-catching storytelling using humor, disturbing moods, visual effects and majestic images. I live in Jessheim, Norway.
